    someone has offered me this visor is it a late one ? the wool is coarse

          I'd say it's more a mid-war '42-'43 visor as even thought the wool is a little coarser, the other materials, particularly the liner, show some care in construction that aren't always there in late war ('44-'45) caps. Nice lid!

            Its a good one. I would agree with Don regarding it being a mid-war visor.

            & its the first time I have seen this maker....
