    OK Rick

I'll bite. I think that we Luft collectors are the most obsessed. They had so many styles of caps. So, here are some more of mine. This is a trop M41 that I got from Ralph Heinz.

Here is the interior. Size stamped only. No manufacturer or RBNr. Ralph's research concluded that this one came from a hat manufacturer for the Kriegsmarine.

Another M41. This one is pictured in Kurtz' book on the German paratrooper. I got this one a few months after the other one.

My tropical overseas. It has a really nice salmon pink triangle on it. Berolina manufacturer.

This one came from last year's MAX. A typical continental OS cap, but with tropical insignia. Shea has an officer's version of this cap on his site right now.

I have no idea why the edelweiss, especially on the right side. A bomber group used these as their symbol, but typically found on the left side. There are also photos of field division members wearing the edelweiss. But, they were mountain qualified and again worn on the left. So, it is a mystery. Been there a long time as the material shows shifts in color under it.

My version of the winter cap posted by Jos, except with light wool exterior.

The interior with its manufacturers label really make this cap.
