Hello,
I would like to have some opinions about these 2 KM side caps.
The first one is in black with a black artificial silk interior in a mint condition with a bevo yellow KM eagle on blue and a machine embroidered cockade in black, white and red on a blue background. Insignias are applied by hand.
The second one is in blue with a blue cotton interior. This cap wears size stamp (56) and B.A.K. stamp (Bekleidungsamt Kiel). On the left side of the cap traces of worn isgnia to be found. Looks like it had the longer metal insignia of an U-Boot. Cap is slightly motted. Insignia (eagle and cockade) have been machine applied.
I have checked some prior postings on KM-caps for this B.A.K. stamps. Both these stamps wear the same dates 9.6.41. Could not find anything specific about these stamps.
Regards
