Veterans Visor for Mountain troop

Out of all places, I picked this up at a pawn shop today. Under the sweat band it is stamped R 41. How does it look? Is the edelweiss on the visor common?

Nice Kyffhauserbund that became a Reichskriegerbund visor (that also has a Soldatenbund eagle!).

Typical of the "mix n' match"/"anything goes" mentality of the veterans with these hats.

The eidelweiss is uncommon, and if I recall right, represents Austrian Kyffhauserbund units.
