Police Visor - for review - help

Hi there Gents. Could you please pass an opinion on this thing . Fairly certain post war. Thread loose on the lining, and as I can see on the inside only one set of holes for eagle+cocade. Good quality cloth, slight moth nips here and there, but plastic diamond? Cord? It looks damn good in some photos.

I personally see nothing wrong (except for the EM eagle maybe if this is trying to be an officer's cap). I'd say you have a nice original TR Schutzpolizei visor there !

Your hat looks ok to me.The officers cord was added later on in the war by the owner because he got promoted.I have a nco one and it has the officers side buttons and a leather strap.I was told on this forum by the experts that this was a common practice.
