I need some help with this cap!
It feels, smells and looks old.
Its definitely original, but the question is... wartime or post-war?
I did some research but i´m not sure, as i cannot find good photo´s of post-war overseas caps to compair.
The lining inside is the same as with originals i´ve seen.
I did some research on the badge that is on the cap: the key that crosses the anchor is the city key of Bremen.
I know that there are 2 U-boats (U-173 and U-764) that used this key as their sign and at least 1 post-war ship.
