    Two Bergmuetze for opinion

Ok, I asked a few members in private before for helping me with these caps but didn`t have good pictures then, so now I would like to ask in public for the opinion about this 2 caps. Are they real WW2 army caps ???
The story behind them is very legit (since war at one home) but you know, you buy the caps not the story so please help me

If they were for my collection, I would pass on both.

Other than the full leather liner being removed and the buttons possibly being replace I think the yellow lined 1 is a nice original early bergmutze for officer or private purchase around 1938 ish..JMHO Billbert

Hi guys, I didn`t want to mentioned it before showing the caps but the story indeed is that the owner was GJ officer, so these caps are told to me to be the officers private purchase caps, Billbert could be right that these are good ones.

Really hard to say, but i like the look of both. I´m wondering that the others don´t like them. But of course, this is only my opinion and i don´t know it for sure.

The more I look at the yellow lined one the more I like it, and the cap having being changed the steinuss buttons for metal ones matches with the story of the GJ officer as they usually had metal buttons on bergmützen. At first glance I didn't like the yellow colored liner, for the simple reason that I had never seen one like this before, but there's always a first time. However I would like to see more detailed pictures, specially of the stiffener inside. Leather sweat liner being removed seems pretty common with bergmützen.
As for the first one it clearly is not a regular bergmütze, but it could be a private purchase one, which in the case would be difficult to authenticate the time of production/originality.
