Membership here is a beneficial venue you can exercise and pursue learning knowledge prospectively. You did the right thing by joining if you plan to pursue in this hobby, a great remedial course action on your part in this minefield of fakes.

Many respective members here selflessly willing to assist, providing you apply some personal research effort and the right approach. There are other recommended methods such as publications as well. At least that's one positive outcome as knowledge/education is one of the best preventive control measures.

Would be nice if you could aquire a refund for your loss. Otherwise take the hit and drive on. Many of us have probably made similar errors at one time or another.
