Opinions on a sidecap

Hello Gentlemen,

I'd like to have some opinions on this (suposedly) KM sidecap. My knowledge on these is way to limited to make an honest decission on this cap.
(I'm awaiting higher quality photos)








the white debree inside is some paper, could be an old tag or just anything. No markings .

The pics are very bad and the cap is black , can be confusing, post larger, hq pics and it will be clear and this looks as if someone wants to fool someone else with these kind of pics !!!
The pic of the front of the cap is not very clear !

I know the pics are terrible and it's color is hard to determine. The "problem" is it's not comming from a collector, but it's a rag find... Well when the price is dropping I might take the chance.

He right, It looks like the Early Model but also the M 40 cap. So if you buy it or restore it , it will always be one of those, Maybe items. If it was me I would not fall in love.
