cap is Original or Fake ?

    hello,
    I need(require) once help(aid) to the regulation(determination) of this cap(hat).

really the cap(hat) looks stronger carried(worn) than on the photos.

am not to me with the regulation(determination), whether original(authentic) or fake certainly?

need(require) there the opinion of an expert.

    thanks and greet

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

inconsistent wear on the liner like it was pieced together from a great coat dont realy like the markings or there position i know it did happen from time to time and the blue thread ,and button holes, not to mention the buttons look added recently as well, insignia is real but hand applied most likely made to look like an original restored cap

                I agree with Lenny,
Modern sitiching with blue thread, button holes, shape, unpainted button..
Wool, lining and trap are original anyway

                  hello,
this is some meaningful reasoned! thank you!

the thread is not blue but gray.

The cap can be made even before 1945?

                  or which is excluded?

                  greeting

PS: The vendor will have 300 € for it.

                  they will not buy it!

So the thread is not purple or blue, but gray!

maybe this is the photo light! the daylight it's gray.
                      greeting

Incidentally, the buttons must be painted not necessarily. there was also no color.

no matter! will return the cap.

The stitching is not gray, flash distorts colors , painted buttons are not a 100 % rule , you people have knowledge but there is one thing thing you seem to overlook, not everything was done by the book during the war, sometimes shortage or whatever could have caused none painted buttons to be attached...

Until now, all opinions to the cap, which I got 50: 50.

I also again with uv light, the thread control. result: uv negative.

the whole uv cap is negative.

                            greeting

You got the opinions that you should take note off. Remember not all opinions on the WAF is of equal value. Jacques
