Somewhere once upon a time I recall seeing a photo of a bakery company on the Eastern front and it seems there were a few guys wearing white caps, perhaps similar to these. Just a guess.

Thats what they look like to me. Not an expert, but your hats have the same characteristics as mine: material, shape, and yours has a maker mark on the inside. Mine does not. Check it out and judge for yourself

I thought that was possible. Thank you for the pic. Is it possible to see the inside of your cap? It is very nice!

What size is your cap? My 2 are very large which makes them very enlongated looking.

I manged to straighten one out a bit. Starting to look like a normal KM overseas to me....

This cap in post #19 compared to the cap in post #1 shows notable differences in cut and form and i am sure this cap is something else !!!

They do look very long and narrow in post #1, I agree. You do have to keep in mind, thease are very large size hats. I wear a 7 1/4 US size and thease hats are a bit loose on my head! They are very enlongated which would make them look like "something else".
