    Infantry NCO cap

    Hi Guys

Just got this rather well worn example, its a little unusual to me at least as in the style is 'alter art' but has metal insignia and chin strap. The interior is also unusual with blue cotton lining- would this count as a crusher cap- it definitely had a cloth eagle sewn on at one time?

    Many thanks

    Patrick

Absolutely nothing about it suggests it could be called a "crusher"....
As an example, could you fold it in half and put it in your pocket?
Nice little visor, but not a crusher in any sense.

        Regards,
        Brett

Looks like a nice used cap Wartime photo's show flatwire insignia added to visor caps to give it that "alter art" look. Who knows maybe this was one of these cases.
