    Organization Todt Tropical Cap (Officer)

    Hello to all,

I would like to get some opinions on this Organization Todt, tropical-type field cap. I know absolutely nothing about Third Reich headgear so I would appreciate any and all comments. This cap came from an 85-year old man who claims he took it out of a German house at the end of WW2. Is this real or is this fake?

    Thank you & best regards,
    Tom

The marking on the sweatband reads, "Qualitäts Marke."

The ink-stamped markings, "Org. Todt Wiesbaden" and size "59"?

It looks quite believable in materials, insignia, sewing, and markings. The experts wil be along to straighten things out if I'm in error at first glance.

Nice original OT light weight cap
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.
