Police field cap on estand - need opinion

Robert show the front of the officers piped M42 cap (in polizei color wool, PO stamped)!

This one was missing the eagle, but it was clearly a police eagle based on nap wear. It is police marked.

I've not found period photos showing this in wear, which just means that we haven't found the evidence - yet. Eventually, and hopefully before all this fine caps have been dismissed as replicas, photos proving their issue and use will surface.

The police M42 officers cap is shown, at top (obviously!).

Thanks for posting Robert! For one thing, I like this one more then the one that started this thread, interesting...The markings would not indicate custom made, if okay then likely some kind of local manufacturing contract? So others might indeed surface
