EREL Heer general's visor cap with vented cockade

How does this one look? The eagle and the wreath must have been replaced at one point, since this cap was manufactured before 1940?

First i think its look great.
but i see some issues myebe i am wrong.

Why dont the metal piping have any patina.
Have the cap been washed?

When you see under the visor its look so well used with a lot of the paint flacking off the visor and the lining dont looks too have the same used patina at all.

Just my fast obsrervation mybe i am far out

In my experience the paint on the underside of Erel visors is prone to flaking...

From 1st look, it certainely has everything that I would like to see on an 'Erel' original. I would say nice 'score' if this is now yours. Any attributes as to who the 'Herr General' this may have belonged to? I like it.

Not mine, at least not yet, just trying to get some opinions. I must say that this is the first Heer general's visor that I have seen with the cap spring removed. I do like the "front line" looks of it!
