Answer is No. While it has original insignia, all insignia is re-applied. As Mark's outstanding example demonstrates, Halfar had a very distinctive style of insignia application. You can see the holes where the thread used to rejoin the false scallops used to be on the right side...

I should add that being an original Carl Halfar, it is still a much more scarce cap than any of the Hans Brandts, Clemens Wagners, Weissbachs etc that are commonly available today; even with reapplied insignia.
