        Grüß Di' Sergio,

Wow! Another beautiful Bergmütze! You seem to have the corner on 'minty' Bergs.

The 'T-Adler' looks like it may have been re-sewn onto the cap.

        Drei mal Horrido!!!

Very nice Bergmutze and here is an interesting photo of a W-SS Gebirgsjaeger wearing a WH Gebirgsjaeger Bergmutze with an army edelweiss and W-SS totenkopf !

It looks to me to be a premium example of the classic Heer issue Bergmutz with the reservation that (as several others have mentioned) the eagle/cockade appears resewn. Great hat.

Nice cap same maker as the panzer side cap on Mikes site
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

No doubting this one, replaced insignia or not.

I'm sure I owned a Kubach fieldcap at one point in time. I'll have a look in my photos.

I'm curious, how many more Bergmuetzen do you have!?

Hello Patrick, thank you, are several tens of years to collect Bergmuetze, I'm lucky to find areas where they had their regiments in Carinthia and Styria, and Bavaria, congratulations for your Bergmuetze, are very beautiful, regards sergio

                          Servus Sergio,

Yes...It's good to live in the land of the Gebirgsjägers to find these items. I use to live in the Munich area back in the 1980's...actually right near the Austrian border by Küfstein. I miss going to the flea markets and finding this stuff.

And, as a collector specialized in Gebirgsjäger militaria, I have a fondness for all things mountain related. Your Bergmütze collection is wonderful to see.

                          Mit einem kameradschaftlichen Horrido!

                          Patrick
