Here are two caps currently listed at an auction site. One allegedly a Schellenberg and the other a Pekuro. They look a little Alteste to me. Here are photos, first the Pekuro.

No, there are closeups of the maker's marks on the sweatshields, but none with the sweatbands up.

Well the insignia are!

As for the hats, well, all original parts as far as I can see. What I can't see though is if all those original parts have been sewn together since the 1940's.

Having looked at the photos a bit closer, I'm confident that these 2 have been messed with.

Noticed the rear of the sweatbands.

On the Schelly, the overlap has been stitched incorrectly.

On the Pekuro, the overlap is so far off the centre line it's pathetic. Also, you can see evidence of some poor repair work to attach the leather on to the velvet strip.
