I'm far from an expert, but the cap looks fake to me. The EREL logo in the swearshield looks too big, and the logo on the sweatband too small. The sweatband stiching does not look authentic either, IMHO.

Ground up reproduction. Look closely at the vent mesh and it will about 2X the normal size.

Agreed, a reproduction.

Not often seen in the UK though, must have clocked quite a few air miles!
