A rare visor

I picked this lovely up a couple of months ago but just got around taking pictures of it.
It is an early Form 3 Reich Level visor, any guesses as to which organization it belonged to; I have only seen one other visor like this and I believe it belonged to one of our French colleagues. I will hold off posting the interior shot to see if anyone guesses correctly.

Jesus, you Americans took everything that was worth taking back to the States, thats why you dealers are loaded with WW2 German militaria ,lucky you won the war cause otherwise it would be the other way around i guess

Well, if you think about it, at wars end the Germans didn't want reminders of the lost war and depending on where you were shortly after the war you could have been very severely punished for having any Nazi related stuff. Clothing was generally stripped of insignia and worn or otherwise left to rot or burnt.
So really the American soldier was bringing this stuff home due to his sophisticated sense of history...

It is a Reichsleitung level visor, that is correct. However each organization had Reich level leaders; i.e. NSKK, SA, NSDAP, etc.
This is one of those organizations, though fairly obscure.
