    Fire Police Officer's Visor

New to collecting. This is recent pick-up, anyone able to tell what year this may be? Also, would this be considered fairly good condition for one of these visors? Thanks for all your help.

Should be three rows of piping; I see only two. Also, is the band black wool, or velvet?

There is three rows of piping, the third is just above the nazi badge, you can see it in pics 1, 2 and 4.

... there are three pipings... look at the last picture

It is an original Feuerwehr visor cap with the first type eagle. I forgot the year it was changed to the 2nd type eagle.

The condition is pretty good. No obvious mothing or holes. A little bit out of shape, but that can easily be fixed again.

The second type eagle was introduced 1936. So your visor cap dates pre 1936.

Give us a close up of the eagle, please. It should be the officer's style with the thicker eagle on the wreath. If not, it is maybe a Mannschaften upgrade cap with a chincord replacing the original leather chinstrap.

Nice caps, but I want to make clear they are not Fire Police, but Feuerwehr (Fire Dept).

Fire police (Feuerschutzpolizei) wore police green uniforms with carmine piping. This is a visor for the FSP:
