            perhaps is "L4" wrong for this kind of "leather" RZM agreement...

            Own also 4 straps with "L10/4/39 SS" agreement code number

            perhaps a period strap but... "later" SS marked ?

                Yes but... see RZM regulation of 1938...

                Could they be marked "L4" before 1938

                  I wouldn't put much faith in it as the L4 designation is for saddle makers.

                      With SS items there is a direct corallation between the number of excuses that have to be made compared to the chances of an item being original ..... you just lost.
