wehrmact infantry side cap???? please help

hello i just bought a side cap?? the one with no peak that folds flat
it has the eagle swastika at front above a round raf like symbol nothing to do with that but thats how it looks same as others on here. i am 98% sure its original due to the circumstances how i came to buy it what i wanted to know was what its called and like to know more about maker at front on inside is piece of leather with EXTRA the t im guessing its that as that part is worn and can only see bottom part of letter it has to be a t or an i or l as the bottom you can make out and its straight the mark is made like it was pressed into the leather with a very art deco border. there is allso silver metal pipping all round the hat i would love to put photos on here but do not know how to go about it
would consider selling the hat but havent a clue what its worth i prefer german daggers and books please could some one help me out with some info on the maker and what hat this is thankyou you so much for taking time to read if you want photos happy to send to you or whatever thankyou again

Posting pics. Looks like a nice Infantry Officer's side cap with some hidden moth damage. The name on the leather sweatband is the name of the maker of the band. Not the maker of the cap. Value????? $400

Based on what can be seen from the photos, looks to be a nice example.

                    john is a top bloke

thanks alot john for posting the photos mate. so the maker mark just refers to the sweat band thats a shame does anyone know of that company??
what sort of soldier would of worn a hat like this only just realised how many
diferent side caps there are is there any meaning to the metal shinny pipping
all around the cap and im aware the eagle and round badge is just decoration
well at least i think the round badge is? but is there any meaning behind the
cream triangle stripe between eagle and round badge.
                    $400 suprised by that pleasantly
i know how mundane and baic these questions must be to you all. im very sorry for this but we all start somewhere.
THANKS JOHN FOR POSTING THE PHOTOS YOUR A STAR MATE!!!

The eagle and and roundel represents the national insignia and identify the soldier as a member of the Army (HEER). The cream triangle (used to be white ) show him as a member of the infantry and the silver piping that he is an officer. Nice and quit desirable cap. Jacques
