To me that's a rather unusual eagle of which I haven't seen before. Also I have to agree with Billbert on those stampings. Both my white caps are French made and I'm just not up on the German produced version I guess. Always keep an open mind on these though.
The eagle does not appear German made to me, but the cockade does. I just kind of assumed the eagle was foreign made. I have seen similar RBNR numbering before, like in this stug wrap Mike Davis just sold. I could be 100% wrong, but fake stamps are usually not done with multiple stamps, and that legible.
Agree with some of you that the stamps are not in the way I would like to see.
This maker 0/0265/5504 would be Waren-Verein GmbH from Magdeburg, and its main activity is not conected with uniform gaments, "Grosshandel in Kolonialwaren"

Well it's a good thing I don't collect KM then! That eagle sure looks detailed and well done for a fake, I would not think there was money to be made in a fake KM eagle on white, but I'll go with the flow here.
