M43 cap out of the woodwork

This use M43 cap just came out of the woodwork. If was found in the attic of an old house, where it had been from the end of the war - 65 years.
Insignia nicely machine applied.

Sorry I am not asking if you think this cap is original, because it is original
It has got a weak stamp, only "1944" can be read.
But it is clear to see the initials of the soldier was E.F.

For those struggling to authenticate M43's, this is how they should look like.

Note the stitching at the bottom left of the trap, he or she missed the first time, stopped then did it again.
