SS M43 cap on the estand

Thoughts on this cap? Is anyone familiar with this style of trap?

To be honest Harry, I've always considered this trap as being not authentic. It's just my opinion of course.

Thanks for the input Ben. Not getting a lot of responses to the threads on this cap. Probably due to a shortage of experience with these types of traps anc caps.

The trap does look like an original but it doesn't float my boat at all, the seller certainly got plenty of publicity for his cap.

I have no problem with these as a comparison.

Not mine Harry, it's all here on the forum for everyone to look at.

I guess it's no big secret, look at the embroidery and compare. The short stubby stitches of the one attached to the estand cap are not correct, again though, only IMHO.

If it was my money based on the insignia alone I would walk away.
