Hi to everyone,
just entered the collection this very interesting Clemens Wagner cap (distributor Michael Hollfelder-Ansbach) belonging to a Generalstabs/Veterinary member, (even if the shade of farbe color it's not so marked I've compared with several artillery reds.)
I've checked it carefully and I'm sure it's a really good one but I'd like to have your help and opinion about the method of visor attachment.
As you can see there are two kind of threads. At first glance it could seem only a reinforcement and make you sure that there aren't any blank holes in the SB or in the visor itself, so I don't think the visor has beem reattached.
In some points the light grey thread pass over the darker one, and it seems to me that there aren't any signs of tampering but I don't recall in this any CW construction method....
Now, pls I'd like to have your opinion about and if someone of you have a cap with the same maker/distributor and features, pls post it....
