cap react in UV-light

Hi.

I just bougt this very nice artillery visor on E-Stand.

When i got it home i used UV-light to tjek it.

I think there might be a problem with the chinstrap,because it reactet to the light by shining.

I think that maybe it is a regular string, coverd with "silver" to look like the real thing.

Is that possible?

What is your opinium?

I posted some pictures,but it was difficult to make a good one.

i used no flash on the pictures.

Can you tell us what the material is within the slip knot (metal, plastic ect)?
