    Wehrmacht Schiffchen

I just picked up an EM Wehrmacht Schiffchen, marked on the inside 'Wiener Muetzen Lago 1940'. It is missing the national insignia, but otherwise in excellent condition. Has anyone seen any by this maker? I'll get some photos up ASAP.

Here are the inside markings. Do you think I should attempt to restore the national insignia, or leave it as is? Also, what do you think this thing is worth?

I'm probably going to offer this for sale, as I don't collect these. What would be a fair price, and should I attempt to restore the national insignia?

I would leave it up to the purchaser to restore if they see fit to do so.

Thanks for the comments and advice. What would be a reasonable price for this item if I put it on the estand?

Without eagle, ect.? I would not pay more than 200 for a stiped EM/NCO side cap.
