    ss side cap

    Hi guys, i have the chance of this side cap, now it looks good to me but after all the threads i have seen on repro caps i thought best to check the eagle looks good but the tk is missing but its left an indentation where its been, it has the piping on the top and has an rbnr on lining , sorry about the pics but i only had my phone with me to take pics,, rgds Dave

      Novice question, but is an rbn# acceptable on an SS cap?

        IMO eagle is not original. Xed chest pattern, design of head, feet and wreath, etc.

          There were RBnr on SS caps, in particular on sidecaps.
          This cap for first look looks nice but FAKE eagle was sewn by machine so I do not suppose that someone broke the original item.

                eagle fake and hand stiched. cap needs more pics i don't like thread used... but construction seems good.

                  I had a wehmacht m43 cap with this same rbn number and everyone who looked at it said it had the wrong construction and told me it was a fake.So I sent it back to the seller and got something different.When I look at the different rbn numbers this one is very hard to find.So this number I wouldnt trust.
