        Hallo Chris

        Actually I'm getting a little too suspicious. This generic logo with the words in italics appears legitimate (see Wilkins) and it has a well defined shape. We could attempt to date it, based on the characteristics of the visors on which it appears. It may be that it lived at the same time as the other model, divided into classes written in Gothic fonts.

              Thanks for the great comments guys, there is obviously a wealth of knowledge here so it has been a great help to me. I will see what I can get the Heer cap for and if the NSKK is going cheap may take a gamble on it.

                The Posen visor may be legit--however, I have never seen one by this maker. Can you read the first line of the ink stamping?
