Unfortunately no stamp, but comes from Darmstadt, where he was based in39/40 the hand writing on name lable is the same as wherpass signature.

A very nice visor from Georg Raab militar effekten of Darmstadt, Saalbaustr. am Marienplatz.

Also I own a Raab's cavalry one, but, unfortunately, the gepruft stamp inside the sweatband is quite unreadable.

Please, can you post the papers so we can identify the cavalry unit stationed in Darmstadt?

As enclosed - have not researched it but looks like a cavalry (mounted) training base, then went on to the 246th AA recon.

Any other views welcomed.
