    More SS Officer visors out there . . .

    My enthusiasm for collecting may have greatly diminished, but I still appreciate the sight of another nice SS Officer cap . . . and someone just pointed these out to me this morning (from the Grenadier Military Antiques website) . . .

    Yes there are some nice SS Visor Caps now at many dealer sites. I'd love to have one but I just cant justify paying $8500. for one.

    As Bill Shea states in his ad for a Kriegsmarine Captains Visor;
    "You will encounter a hundred SS Visor Caps before you see one of these."

    I fill lucky to have a nice Kreigs. Captains, maybe one day I'll get that allusive SS Visor.

      Yes, there is another one just listed by Peter Luckas. As Karl, I may get one 1 day. However, for the time being, I am more interested in General's Visors.

            Yes, I agree - that uniform looks very cool from the photos . . . white tabs and all. Would be nice to see in-person some day . . . but I have to keep reminding myself - collecting days are long gone . . . more important things in Life to think about now!

                that one on PVL's site is gorgeous. But as it is a only a cap I too can't justity the outrageous prices of these items.

                              For those of you that have been collecting for a long time, I am curious to know what % prices have increased on SS caps over the past decade and past 20 years. Say between 1990 - Present and 2000 - Present. Also, were prices significantly effected during the market downturn?
