Named Infantry NCO Visor Gebirgsjager Regt. 98...this visor was acquired in the 1950s with the eagle and eidelweiss attached as shown (they had since been broken, but kept with the cap)...I know some units and soldiers wore tradition pins/badges, but would this have been a personal affectation? The peak is really neat and photos don't show it well, but inside of the peak is built up and bulges outward. Ed

Nice cap. Unusual to see infantry 'farbe instead of GJ.
Are there any stampings under the sweatband?
