Hey guys,
Quick question on the best way to stall oxidation on bullion eagles. I've got a Luft M-43 with all bullion insignia, and the eagle has a couple of spots where I can see the oxidation starting. It's been kept in an airtight container since it was purchased, and stored with an all bullion overseas cap.
I know that this can only get worse over time. That said, should I separate the two caps? I don't want one to affect the other.
Additionally, should I include some dessicant with the cap?
I live in a low-humidity area, but this eagle had the beginnings of it when I bought it.
Your feedback and expertise would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Jason
