That is what I was trying to get across in my earlier post. Apparently I wasn't clear enough for member Jarek.

but I ask you about details ,
specific answer.
It is max worn ,is wiped off .
The cap was washed and cleaned with solvent.
Cap served as a painter cap.

I think it is good M40 panzer black cap -devastated

The cloth is wrong, it seems never to have had nap. This may have been a LW ground crew cap or something, on several photo's it definately appears to be a very dark blue so may even be a bordmuetze but it's not SS panzer.
