Luftwaffe Communications Fanenjunker Visor Cap. Opinions needed

Hello everyone. Since visor caps are not my forte I am hoping for some opinions. Does this helmet look 100% wartime original. Wanted to make sure nothing has been added. Also does anyone know what a fair price for it is. Thanks

the pictures are a bit small - bigger ones would be necessary for a serious opinion - but from these pictures I don´t see anything I would dislike. Don´t know the maker though, I´m sure one of our experts could help on that.

I believe this cap is for sale ( and has been for some time) at Grenadier Military Antiques, for, I believe, $ 1,000, or $1,095. A high price, IMHO, but a nice cap.

My only concern about this cap at this point (and it may just be the photos) is that the piping appears to be joined at the center directly above the winged cockade. If so, this would be very unusual. It may, however, just be a trick of the lighting.

Just took a look a the website; price is $1,095. The piping looks fine in the photos, and the visor appears to be in really great condition. Dealer rates it "excellent."
For another $200 or so, you can get a nice Luftwaffe officer's cap, from what I have seen on various websites, although prices are all over the place, depending upon the dealer. There are not many for sale, however.
