U-380

And for those who just want to know its from U-380 with what looks like a knights Cross added so could have come from the crew of Albrecht Brandi before she was sunk.

This boat rescued five German soldiers escaping from Tunisia in a small boat. She brought them to port in La Spezia, Italy on May 16 1943.

I am not sure about U-380. The first commander of U380 was Josef Röther and here you can see a photograf of him with his cap badge and both of them are quite differents. http://www.uboat.net/men/commanders/1019.html

Yes, they look different but essentially the same 4 leaf clover theme. Looks like it was crudely made up in engineering.

Hello. I think it concerns this U-Boot. It has something superimposed on top of the cloverleaf, probably an Iron Cross. Don't know which U-Boot it is myself. Anyone?
