Gentlemen, When I was a child, I recall seeing a drawing in a book about German uniforms; a non-military uniform with the sidecap being an Italian-style bustina i.e. , up-folding visor. The caption may have said it was a Forestry uniform.
Does anyone have any information and fotos of this cap ?

Not sure about Forestry, but the SA Wehrmannschaften wore an Italian style Bustina in olive-brown wool.

Im with Erich on this one..something similar worn by Italians and a version made for some Russian Volunteers but Sa most likely.. Billbert
