Black single button forage cap

Hello, i thought id post this cap here for your consideration before i give it to my nephew to wear, im no expert on original ww2 caps so im looking for advice, it might have been dyed black at some point . All comments are welcome , many regards Pete.

Hi Pete, some kind of post war cap would be my guess. The M43 style remained very popular for a long time.

I d bet a few of those m43 caps in above picture with tractor were put together under the swastika..Billbert
