    Unknown pre 1945 visor

    I thought perhaps this was an imperial seebattalion visor but now I wonder if is maybe just pre Reich era. Any clue might help solve this mystery perhaps tropical visor

      I initially thought the same thing but Chip in the imperial forum with whom is pretty good at the imperial side of things thinks perhaps post imperial due to the shield.

            Well, that seems to be the general consensus here albeit an expensive cap. Thanks guys!

            This article seems to fit quite nicely as an explanation I just found on the net. Looks like a pretty early version.
