    Opinions for EM/NCO panzer hat

    Hello guys ,
I want to know your opinions about this EM/NCO panzer hat.

It is nice, but I have some doubts about eagle. Is it replaced? Has different material than the frieze? It apeears more thin than usually eagles, isn't it?

    I wait your opinions!

    Happy holidays to all!

    Stefano

    Looks like a beautiful example.

Can't comment on the eagle. If it were denazified at one point, this would explain an eagle replacement.

How can I know if the eagle was re-applied?

And is it possible that hats not reassembled have had in origin eagle and frieze made with different materials? Or usally (in origin) hats had eagle and frieze made always with the same material?

      Cheers

Stefano your cap is a perfect!

I don't like the eagle becaus it looks like a typical repro. But you can never be shure if the ealge is originaly or replaced. It makes however nothing because 99% of all caps you get from collectors, dealers ect. are replaced, but It's okay.
Or you will let a cap without a eagle??
You can be only surely if you get the cap directly out of the family.

And yes, it is possible that materials (ealge and wreath) are made of different materials.

        Cheers,

Stefano, beautiful hat--rare to find private-purchase Panzer EM/NCO visors.

Can you post a close-up of that maker label? Thanks.

Steiner, what do you mean? Reproduction or replaced? In second line you speak "tipical repro" !

                Cheers
