    Unknown Side Cap

I picked this up at a local antique shop along with some dagger hangers and a dagger. I can not find this cap in any of the general reference books that I have. Can anyone tell me what this is?
    Thanks

DAF (Labor Front). The pale blue piping = Ortsgruppe, just like for NSDAP Political Leaders.

      Rare or Common?

Headgear is really out of my area, but for $5 I could not pass it up. Is this a rare or common side cap? I know it is in poor shape, but what is its relative value?

I don't know rare or common either... but this is the USUAL type of these that do turn up. It's too bad that the eagle is ruined.

Here's my friend Jim's, photographed by me a few years ago:

Good price, what kind of dagger picked you up?

I suppose that I must have mistyped. It was not a dagger, it was just a plain old dress bayonet.
