Calvary Overseas Hat Officer?

I believe that I have an Officers Calvary Overseas Hat. My goal here is to sell the two I have put up for review to obtain an Officers Artillery Hat.

Well the RZM tag says it is for the DAF, it is definitely not a Heer Cavalry officer cap.

(as to authenticity, I am not up to speed on DAF caps, will let the experts do that mate).

i have no doubts that this cap is not a real daf cap
but i only know them with blue silver gold and a more than rare twisted piping

that one seem to be yellow

does anybody have a picture with the twisted piping?

otherwise i am looking for early daf side cap without piping maybe someone
got one for me

This one looks really yellow, but that isn't a reason to say it is fake.

but without the eagle,i have the cockwheel belonging to the cap and look now for the cap to finish it

The piping is more of a gold color than yellow. I did a little checking and found these on a few dealers sites.

Your example is very different than mine. Mine is more yellow and has two buttons on the front with a cloth eagle. Also, mine has a makers tag and I do not see one in yours.

Do you have an example of this hat with blue piping? The reason I ask is that I have one of those listed in this section as well and both of these hats are constructed the same way.

The cap I am referring to is the oringinal hat I started the thread with. These two hats you posed look like the two hats I have, not the one posted above with the metal insignia. Here are a couple more pictures.
