No. Please don't start this once again. Read back with the use of the search engine on 'waffenfarbe'.

Forget "Waffenfarbe". Would you have us believe that the COLOR for Jaeger can be distinguished from the COLOR for Gebirgsjaeger? Also puzzling that the "Gebirgs" cap lacks an Edelweiss.

Due there are many questions about the shades of the different green expecially between Admin. Gebir. ,here a sure one a Kriegsdauer dark green and gray band.
I got this Erel today ,and now is for you for comparison.

Surely the Skijaegers had a slightly different shade of green. If you wish to believe that the subtle shade differences from different dye lots designates distinct formations, that perhaps different shades of pink determine whether one served in a Panzer or a Panzerabwehr unit; you are of course welcome to entertain such thoughts.

Good Lawd! At least one can entertain no doubts about the shade variances of infantry or engineer branch waffenfarbe.
