    Can't speak to the cap but got a laugh out of the name of the site

    "Original Militaria" IN quotation marks. LOL.

        I guess the red soutache would be an indicator of general's branch farbe (as opposed to gold! )
        General Munoz (Blue Division) who is depicted in the add...unrelated to this cap actually wore an enlisted cap
        (as well as a converted enlisted tunic) with an added GOLDEN soutache to indicate general rank.

            If the photo is any indication of reality, then that piping is certainly bad, or at least not a type I would own. The eagle does not look period produced.

            The soutache and cockade may be salvaged. Since the piping is an integral part of the cap, it would certainly bring the whole piece into question.

            Save your money for a closer to "one look" example.
