Alkero - Original or Post War???

It is a rainy day today so I looked in some footlockers for things I haven't seen in years. I have had this hat that was given to me for some time now, definitely nothing very elegant, but thought I would ask about the maker label as I did not see this particular one posted in the pinned areas. I realize this maker is prominent in the post-war era so looking for validation whether it is or isn't.

Thanks for looking and welcome your comments.

The cap is period, not more to me...

Pre-war cap. It had FAD insignia, but that is not the typical FAD hat.

I'd like to see a closer shot of the visor trim...

Stonemint - you are correct as I believe this could be more of Weimar era hat. I am posting the picture that came with the hat.

As requested more shots of the hat

          Photo that accompanied the hat...

shot of the trim... if my eyes are correct it looks to be almost a herringbone type weave.

Also... a shot of the top trim - same material as hat.
