GJ Officers Cap

Looking at the GJ cap currently on ruptured duck. Any opinions from you cap guys if this is a good buy and the piping isnt to dark?

The piping looks to be GJ. I would worry about the hand stitched visor personally. Also, This is the model with out the side liner, i presume, sice we can't see it in the pics. Would I spend this kind of money on this cap, probably not. Have a look on the e-stand from time to time as one might come up eventually at a better price.

Nice looking cap. Seems a bit pricey. One thing I have noticed over the years, and this is just an impression that I get, but it seems like GJ officer caps tend to have a more gray color to the fabric like this cap than the more typical green-gray.

I know there was a variance of color across the board it just seems like I have seen this kind of color associated with the Gebirgsjager more than any other branch. Maybe it was peculiar to cap makers in Bavaria?? Just speculating.
