strange cap ! ID please...

hi guys ,this cap is from a friend . i don't trust it ,but it is also not my kind of interest...
what do you think abouth it please ? real or fake ,who were wearing these (post ,railroad ,political...)

Some years ago, I've seen this logo from the unknown maker A. BREITER ( inh. Simon Breiter ) of ROSENHEIM, printed in black on the sweatshield of a fake SS visor. In my opinion, this is not a period visor.

I have seen this "Janus" logo discussed elsewhere on the forum - maybe in the fake maker'slabels thread, but maybe in the authentic maker's labels thread.

To me it certainly appears to be a 35-37 period cap of civil origins in near mint condition..Billbert

Enorepap is correct--here is the logo used on a fake SS visor:

My opinion is that the hat is from the immediate postwar period (1945-50), and is either Postal or mining related. Perhaps postwar Post Inspektion?

Remove the eagle and see if there are signs of a BRD Kokarde.
