    Panzer crusher fur cover

    Hello everybody,
visited a friend today and made some pictures of a panzer beret fur cover: I think it is really a seldom encountered piece. I hope you will find it of interest.

All of the fur covered berets I have seen and owned had a tan/brown colored material covering the crash helmet part. It was not removable, but would have to be cut off. Is that what has been done with this piece? I cannot see where it would be of much value without the crash helmet liner.

            Richard,
this fur cover was to be used in place of the standard wool beret in cold areas, therefore it was removable. It is not a cut out part of the winter cap you mean.

I'm not sure that this is correct...
